Important Update on 2025 U.S. Tariff Impact for Swiss-Made Products
As of September 8, 2025, all Swiss-manufactured Curaprox products imported into the United States are subject to an additional 39% U.S. import tariff under trade policy code HTSUS 9903.02.58. This tariff is the result of a federal trade action in response to international tax policies and affects a range of Swiss-origin goods.
We want to reassure you that this change has not altered our commitment to the quality, performance, or clinical reliability of Curaprox products. We’ve worked hard to absorb much of the cost and restructure our pricing thoughtfully to support our partners.
We’re grateful for your ongoing trust and partnership. If you have questions about the updated pricing structure or would like to speak to your account manager about planning or bulk purchasing, please reach out—we’re here for you.

Why have Curaprox prices increased in the U.S.?
As of September 8, 2025, Curaprox products manufactured in Switzerland are subject to a 39% U.S. import tariff under code HTSUS 9903.02.58. This tariff was introduced by the U.S. government as part of a trade enforcement action and affects a wide range of Swiss-made goods. We’ve absorbed as much of the cost as possible and have made thoughtful adjustments to our pricing to continue offering you the quality and support you rely on.
What is HTSUS 9903.02.58?
HTSUS 9903.02.58 is a classification under the U.S. Harmonized Tariff Schedule that imposes a 39% additional import duty on certain Swiss-origin goods. It was enacted in response to service tax policies in Switzerland and other countries that the U.S. government has deemed discriminatory.
Are all Curaprox products affected?
All Curaprox products are proudly made in Switzerland with the same high standards for quality, safety, and performance. Products manufactured in Switzerland and imported into the U.S. are subject to the tariff. Since Curaprox oral care products are Swiss-made, they fall under this rule.
Why not make the products in the U.S. to avoid the tariff?
Curaprox’s quality comes from Swiss precision engineering, materials, and manufacturing processes. While we’re exploring new ways to manage costs, we’re committed to maintaining the same standards that make our products effective and gentle.
Will this price increase affect sales or promotions?
We will continue to run seasonal sales, bundle offers, and subscription discounts so you can still save on your favorite products.
Will prices go up again?
We don’t anticipate any additional changes in the near future. If the tariff is revised or removed, we will reassess pricing accordingly—and we promise to keep you informed.
When will the tariff be removed?
At this time, the tariff is in effect until the U.S. Trade Representative revises or repeals the policy. We’re actively monitoring developments and will share updates if conditions change.
