The formula is CHX-free, alcohol-free, and SLS-free, making it gentle and effective. It’s safe for long-term use and can be used before, during, or after treatment.
Unlike many mouthwashes that eliminate both harmful and beneficial bacteria, Perio plus zero is microbiome-friendly, preserving the beneficial bacteria in the mouth. It avoids the common issues of alcohol-based formulas, which can cause dryness and irritation, and CHX, which is associated with staining and alters the taste. Additionally, Perio plus zero features a specialized formula that targets pathogens and bacteria responsible for periodontal disease, caries, and halitosis. Perio plus zero is both bacteriostatic and bactericidal. Stops bacterial growth and eliminates harmful strains.
While Perio plus zero is suitable for use with any toothpaste, it is generally not recommended to use toothpastes containing Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), as SLS can cause irritation and disrupt the oral microbiome. For the best results, choose toothpastes that are gentle.
First, shake the bottle well. Rinse 10ml undiluted for at least 60 seconds, twice daily, ideally after brushing your teeth. For best results, wait at least 30 minutes after brushing before using.
For children (6 years and older): Use up to 5ml of the mouthwash, and dilute it with drinking water to make a total of 10ml. This will reduce the intensity of the flavor. Rinse with the diluted solution for 2 minutes.
